Atelier Kroll is a small workshop in Würenlos.

Here small furniture, accessories for the home and kitchen and pieces for board games and roleplaying are made by hand – built from wood and complemented with leather, brass and cast resin.

Every piece is designed and built individually, and the portfolio shows a selection.

Solid wood

Walnut, oak, cherry, maple and Swiss pine – chosen to suit the piece.

Veneer

For inlay and marquetry, such as the wall cabinet with the Zollverein motif.

Leather

For cases, key holders and as a soft hinge on folding boxes.

Brass

Fittings, pins and the small details that make a piece feel finished.

Cast resin

For dice and objects that need colour and depth.

Leather Key Holder

While testing some patterns I bought from Etsy, I tried to modify ideas and used newly created patterns to create this Leather key holder.

Sharp Edge Dice
Roleplaying, Boardgames

Sharp Edge Dice

Since I started to invest time into Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying after 30 years, I did cast my own dice. In this portfolio entry you can see some of my first handmade dice sets.

A hand flatterer made from solid wood. A simple shape that sits well in the hand and can also be used to open a bottle that is sealed with a crown cap.
