Handturned pens

Watching multiple videos about pen turning that way of creating art caught my eye. Since I don’t have much space left to setup a big lathe in my shop I followed a recommendation from another youtuber that the Proxxon DB25 micro lathe would be the perfect candidate for pen turning. I’m really happy with the micro lathe and the results I get using that small tool.

Handcarved spoons

A meditative type of wood working is the carving of spoons. I tried that with a tool set from Narex and ordered a Spoon Carving kit from the Spoon Crank to get used to it.
